Infant and child CPR-September

Participants in this class will learn how to identify when a baby/child needs CPR,  how to perform CPR and how to relieve foreign body airway obstruction  (choking.) Participants will also learn how to use an AED.  This training is ideal for expectant and new parents, grandparents, and  caregivers.  Each family will have hands-on practice time with their own manikin as well as  leave with an American Heart Association workbook to use as reference.  Babies/children are welcome to attend.  Classes are taught by Joyce Havinga-Droop, Certified Birth Doula and American  Heart Association CPR Instructor.  Joyce has been teaching CPR classes since 2015 and attending births since 2012.
