Join us for an interactive workshop that will guide you in how to support your baby to sleep optimally. Julia will empower you with knowledge and insights and you’ll come away with tangible tools to help your baby sleep better. Topics will include:
- how much sleep baby needs at each stage of development
- wake windows by age
- sleep cycles
- sleep environment
- nervous system and sleep
- self soothing and self regulation
- soothing and co-regulation
- connections between independent play and independent sleep
- calming ourselves so we can calm our baby
- our inner child and our projections onto our baby, how this impacts the way we view sleep and self soothing

Workshop led by Julia Fuller-Kling
Julia is a mama, a Certified Postpartum Doula, a Breastfeeding Counselor, and has her B.A. in Early Childhood Development with a focus on Waldorf early childhood education. She has taught in Nursery, Kindergarten, and Parent and Child classes at various Waldorf schools. Julia is also inspired and informed by the RIE “Caring for Infants with Respect” approach developed by Magda Gerber and Emmi Pikler, and Simplicity Parenting developed by Kim John Payne.
